How to Join
To become a member of the Southern Arizona Region you must be a member of the Jane Austen Society of North America (JASNA). JASNA members who live in Southern Arizona are automatically invited to join in our activities and events; we do not charge Regional dues.
JASNA membership benefits include:
-
The opportunity to join the Southern Arizona Region, which hosts book discussions, lectures, and other local activities. (JASNA members may join one or more of the Society's 80 regional groups in the United States and Canada.)
-
A subscription to JASNA News, the Society’s newsletter, which is published four times a year and includes news, feature articles, and book reviews.
-
JASNA’s annual journal Persuasions, a leading source for Austen studies.
- An opt-in email subscription to JASNA's monthly e-bulletin and other timely announcements.
- An invitation to attend the JASNA Annual General Meeting, a three-day Austen-themed conference featuring speakers, special events, entertainment, and a banquet and Regency ball. The conference is held each autumn in a different North American city.
- Advance notice of JASNA-sponsored tours to England, which are tailored for JASNA members and offer special access to Austen sites.
